Horseradish

Today I was given some horseradish by a good friend. The discussion came up yesterday and they said they did grow it.
How good was it this morning when I was given some rhizome. I cannot wait to get some good nose itching heat in the months to come.

I'm dreaming of a horseradish sauce smothered over roast beef. Here's hoping the planting has been successful.
